First ever alcohol marker doodle! (And yes, I used all the colours in my 'essentials' pack 😂) The blue speck on her cheek came from the ink of a former page 😣

Art haul! 
I treated myself to some (cheap) alcoholmarkers! I really wanted to try them out, because I've been very inspired by some lovely artists (such asbaylee_jae , @doodledateofficial andTorianne00 )

I was actually looking for the Tiger Twin Markers from Flying Tiger, but they were all out. But @riannea1 pointed these out at the Boekenvoordeel. For €15 for 12 markers I couldn't nót get a pack. I only saw the essentials and pastels at that point, so obviously I went for the essentials pack (skin colours!). Of course I tried them out as soon as I got home, and I have to say, I was very happily surprised! Sure, I don't have a lot of knowledge about markers, or have anything to compare them to, but even as a total noob and on non optimal paper I got a nice result! The inks are definitely not the most pigmented out there, at least on the stock paper I used, as there are white specks, but I think they're still pretty solid. Both nibs are kinda big, and of course no brush nib, but they still draw pretty nice. All with all, I was very happy!

This afternoon I went to a fair, and on our way back we passed town, and I just had to go back to the Boekenvoordeel. Now I didn't only find the pastel pack back, I also spotted a bright colour pack! I was indecisive for a bit which pack I would get and if I might even get them both, but in the end I decided to just go with the bright pack. I think 24 markers are a pretty good start 😄

I think I'll still pick up some Tiger Twins if I can find them as well, at least maybe the greys? I'm not sure... I'm a happy little egg now 😊
